Sex Trafficking

When you think of human rights being violated the first topic that hasn’t been addressing the most is human sex trafficking. Sex trafficking is when females and males are forced to be auctions as property and treated less than a human being. The actions that been taking place when talking about sex trafficking is seen as cruel and devastating because humans in foreign countries are viewed as a value more than a human. Sex trafficking within foreign countries has created organizations like the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking which was created to help prevent sex trafficking from continuing. The organization’s purpose was created to end modern-day slavery in foreign countries. This organization reaches out to communities where potential victims of trafficking may reside while offering survivors legal protection from sex traffickers.

I believe that this issue needs to be addressed more because individuals who continuously visit foreign countries for vacations and traveling are the main targets for trafficking. I feel that if there were preventions and warnings for these specific countries to be more visual on their brochures would be more helpful in stopping trafficking because individuals are warned. I think individuals who visit foreign countries should be very cautious about who and where they interact especially if they’re not familiar with the language that there should be someone present that an individual knows personally. When talking about sex trafficking I believe that it should be addressed more on social media to warn the world on what exactly happening in these foreign countries instead of letting the countries gain publicity in these areas.

Social media plays a major role in spreading what happens in these foreign countries in exposing the cruel behavior and modern slavery that individuals live in. The society that we currently live in views and individuals more as a price instead of human while treating us as a liability. Actions need to be taken to prevent this from happening such as protection for individuals affected by this matter. Also by providing therapy and self-defense classes so that these situations can decline as opposed to increase over the years to come. I feel that if action was taken charge in this situation then these country’s governments would take action and enforcing the law to stop sex trafficking.

I feel that sex trafficking has traumatized individuals for the rest of their lives because time can be brought back from your family no matter how hard you try to. Sex trafficking is an event that hasn’t decreased but has increased over the year due to tourists going to these locations without being informed on the area. These governments should approach this situation and prevent the spread because children of all ages are currently petrified from interaction with individuals in these foreign countries. This topic I believe should be a global situation that should be prevented and approached more in a server matter because it leaves a negative impact on the society that they live in.
